FoRB Student Council of Ambassadors Launched in Westminster
The FoRB Student Council of Ambassadors was officially launched in Westminster alongside the UK’s FoRB Special Envoy, David Smith MP. Students from several universities and faith-based organisations gathered to show their support for Freedom of Religion or Belief and to stand together in the noble cause of protecting everyone’s right to believe — in any faith, or in none.
Representatives from BYU London, King’s College London, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the APPG for International Freedom of Religion or Belief (APPG FoRB), and trustees of The FoRB Foundation were among those present, reflecting the strong and diverse commitment of young leaders to Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
A special thank you goes to Libby Reynolds (BYU London) and Faran Shaheen (King’s College London) for their dedication and leadership in organising the launch of the FoRB Student Council of Ambassadors (FSCA).
The new Student Council will play a key role in raising awareness, strengthening advocacy, and helping develop the next generation of leaders dedicated to protecting FoRB around the world.
“If we train the leaders of tomorrow today, we can change the future.”
