A sewing machine can be more than a tool.
For Shamawilou, it is a step towards rebuilding his life. As he continues developing his skills as a tailor and cobbler, the machine is helping him work towards opening his own business and providing for his family.
There is still more needed, including a steam iron, ironing board and shelving, but every contribution helps create a future built on dignity and self-reliance.
