What is the FoRB Student Council of Ambassadors (FSCA)
The FoRB Student Council of Ambassadors is a youth-focused body within the FoRB Foundation dedicated to strengthening freedom of religion or belief through leadership development, collaboration, and parliamentary engagement. It brings together young adults aged 18–25, through affiliated youth-led organisations, to build advocacy skills, exchange insights, and contribute to national and international FoRB initiatives.
The Council offers structured opportunities for training, networking, advocacy, and policy engagement, including direct collaboration with the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Freedom of Religion or Belief. Member organisations designate two delegates to participate in governance, decision making, and project leadership. Additional roles, working groups, and officer positions support the Council’s activities and ensure transparent, youth-led operations.
Membership is open to individuals aged 18–25 and to organisations with active youth involvement in FoRB-related work. Those over 25 may participate through the FoRB Council Ambassador pathway. Benefits include access to parliamentary events, visibility on FoRB platforms, and opportunities to develop campaigns, events, and work-experience initiatives.
The Council operates under the oversight of the FoRB Foundation, which ensures safeguarding, governance integrity, and alignment with wider organisational aims. The FSCA also maintains strong commitments to equality, inclusion, and responsible representation.
As the FSCA grows, the model is designed to scale into new national chapters. International collaboration will extend opportunities for young advocates, allow shared initiatives across regions, and build a broader global network of emerging FoRB leaders.
