Winter of Play 2023

Deb Barry of Humanitarian Consulting and Trustee of The FoRB Foundation Organised this years Winter of Play. The long standing initiative run by Deb has provided support for thousands of children over the years. With the current cost of living crisis this years effort seemed more necessary than ever. The “Winter of Play” parcel included blankets, games, colouring and sticker books, crayons, torches and wrapping paper, so that parents could enjoy the opportunity of wrapping those special gifts. Prior to the collecting of items Deb met with vulnerable children around the UK of varying faiths and beliefs to identify what the greatest needs were. This years parcel is based on those children’s comments. The collaborative efforts of Amazon, Save the Children, The FoRB Foundation and Humanitarian Consulting have helped lift the spirits of vulnerable and displaced children and their parents.
