The FoRB foundation had the opportunity whilst visiting with survivors of FoRB violations to visit with the Governor of Plateau State in Nigeria. The Para Mallam Peace Foundation organised for Matthew Jones of the FoRB Foundation to meet with His Excellency Governor Mutfwang and some of the survivors of abductions and attacks in Nigeria.
The Governor shared his concerns for those suffering from these violent acts and demonstrated great care and compassion for the people of his state during a speech he made at the visit. He provided a luncheon in their honour and rearranged his schedule to give them time and help them feel respected and appreciated.
Also in attendance from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints was President Dennis Ocansey, Abuja Nigeria Mission President and Linda Opuene Clinical Psychologist.
