Prior to joining the FoRB Foundation, Emily Prisbrey worked for sixteen years at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She worked for the last eleven years as a Major Gifts Donor Liaison in the Philanthropies Department.  In her work she raised funding for global humanitarian aid projects and scholarships for the Church’s institutions of higher learning by working with individuals, foundations, and organizations.

She received her Master of Public Administration from BYU, where she became passionate about FoRB and human dignity issues while completing a capstone project for the AMAR Foundation in London.

Emily has founded and served on multiple boards:  she was a founding board member of Winter’s Gift; a board member of Early Intervention, and an advisory board member for the Women to Women Foundation.  She is passionate about mentoring single parents and helping them return to school to further self-reliance opportunities.  She currently serves on the BYU Romney Institute Advisory Alumni Board and the Utah Women’s Leadership “A Bolder Way Forward” initiative.  She is also active in community service, which has included serving in various leadership positions for the Parent Teacher Association and Community Councils in Davis County.
