Warm welcome to our new volunteer interns for the APPG FoRB and the FoRB Foundation.
Brooke Christensen and Thomas Packham are both students at Brigham Young University in the United States of America and are excited to help raise awareness, recover rights, and rebuild lives during their time with us.

Thomas Packham is a senior at Brigham Young University studying international relations, with a regional focus on the Middle East and Central Asia.
He has been actively involved in interfaith engagement through various organizations, including the BYU International Center for Law and Religion Studies, where he supported international religious freedom initiatives and conferences. He has also contributed to cross-cultural dialogue projects with the Stirling Foundation and the Baskerville Institute, including helping organize the Diplomacy of the Heart conference in Uzbekistan.
Thomas is excited to support the global work of the APPG for International Freedom of Religion or Belief through research, stakeholder engagement, and international advocacy.
Outside of his academic and professional interests, Thomas enjoys traveling, reading, and skiing.
Brooke Christensen is a senior at BYU studying journalism with a minor in political science. She spent two years working for BYU’s student newspaper, The Daily Universe, and most recently interned with the Utah Senate during their 2026 legislative session.
Brooke is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is passionate about religious freedom. She is excited to contribute to the FoRB Foundation by supporting communications across its social media and web platforms.

Outside of work and academics, Brooke enjoys reading, pickleball, and musical theater, and hopes to see as many West End shows as possible during her time in London over the next few months.
The FoRB Foundation and the APPG FoRB are excited to welcome Brooke and Thomas for the coming months.
